My works are abstract in nature, but they reference landscape, natural phenomena, objects, and symbols. I don’t approach making art as a means of literal translation, but rather as a vehicle that declares its own truth in the midst of chaos and uncertainty. I use a light-hearted and playful technique that brings together the incongruous and the absurd with the invented and the observed.
